Celebrating Asian Heritage Month with Asian Insight Diaspora Sanghas A National Celebration of Community and Connection Honoring Asian Heritage Month with Lin Wang Gordon, Tim Hwang, and Joanna Williams Join us for an inaugural gathering to celebrate and connect Asian American Diaspora Insight sanghas across the country. While each of our communities may be small, together we form a vibrant, supportive, and growing network of Asian American Buddhist practitioners. This gathering is an opportunity to recognize and honor that collective strength. This gathering is open to self-identified practitioners of all Asian Diaspora sanghas. Come to connect, share, and celebrate our heritage and help strengthen this growing network of practice and belonging. We kindly ask those who do not identify as members of the Asian Diaspora community to support us from afar as we hold space for our community. Sun. 4/26/2026: Asian Diaspora Sangha Monthly Sit, 5:30-7:30pm

The NY Insight AAPI Sangha is a warm and vibrant space for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders to come together in shared practice and community, to foster a sense of connection, understanding, and authenticity. This sangha offers an opportunity for new and experienced practitioners to explore our inner and outer worlds in ways that honor our diverse backgrounds through the heart of the dhamma. The AAPI Sangha meets on the fourth Sunday of each month from 5:30–7:30 PM. Led by NYI Teachers or Practice Leaders, each session includes meditation, a dharma discussion, and an opportunity to explore the dharma in a supportive community. In-person attendance is highly encouraged, as meeting in the physical world helps foster connections that are vital for this community. That said, we understand that some may have circumstances that prevent in-person attendance, and we want to make this community accessible. Location: New York Insight at 115 West 29th Street, 12th Floor 🌸 You’re Invited! 🌸 Join us for a heartwarming gathering of AAPI (Asian American and Pacific Islanders) community, culture, and mindfulness!  We’re coming together as Asian practitioners to share food, stories, and traditions in celebration of Asian Heritage Month. 🧘‍♂️ Date: Thursday, May 29, 2025🧘‍♀️ Time:  6:15-8:15pm (Doors open at 6pm)🥢 Bring: A vegetarian/vegan dish to share, inspired by your heritage or favorite Asian cuisine.  This potluck is a space to honor our diverse roots, connect with fellow AAPI practitioners, and nourish both body and spirit.
