2023 5-Month Course: Soulcentric Midlife (In-Person, 8/12 – 12/2)

Are you in your 40s and 50s and thinking about the second half of your life? Every life stage brings its own gifts.  Each life stage has its own purpose in our development as a whole being.  If our life were the four seasons, 40s/50s could be the early fall.  While our culture likes to associate this time in our life with turmoil and crisis, it could also be a great time for inner growth, clarity, and purpose.

Sunset Meditative Walk – Brooklyn Bridge to Brooklyn Bridge Park – Friday, 9/22

We will begin a meditative walk from the head of the Brooklyn Bridge from the Manhattan side, then walk through the Brooklyn Bridge to the Brooklyn Bridge Park, and we will do a few nature practices in the park. Throughout the walk, we will practice open awareness meditation, metta, five elements, etc. Both beginners and experienced meditators are welcome. Hope to see …

January 2023 Newsletter: Emerged from the Pandemic

January, 2023 “I believe we each carry true wilderness, and thanks to that wildness, our lives need not be determined by our biological inheritance or our prior experience.  Perhaps our lives are most creative and fulfilling when we have accessed and embodied that wildness, our deepest individual potentials and destines for which we were born…our souls.” – Bill Plotkin, “Nature and the Human Soul” Happy New Year, friends! How have you been?!  I took a year of sabbatical with this newsletter – miss you all and hope you have been well!   Coming out of the isolation of the pandemic in 2022, I needed to reengage with life in the physical world and spend less time digitally.  Revenge travel was a term I learned that describes people who travel extensively due to the sense of confinement during the pandemic years. And revenge travel I did in 2022 – I hiked in Yosemite, climbed a tree net in a cloud forest of Costa Rica, journeyed to the volcanos and virgin forests of the Pacific Northwest, and …
