Testimonials

“Attending Lin Wang Gordon’s events has been nothing short of transformative. In just a short amount of time, my perspective on the world, nature, and the climate crisis has shifted from despair to a deep sense of equanimity and curiosity. Lin’s ability to guide her students through complex topics with wisdom and care is truly remarkable. Her dedication to her craft is evident in the thoughtful experiences and journeys she creates for her students. I can’t praise her enough. She has genuinely changed my life for the better.” – A participant from Urban Farm Ecodharma, 2024

“Walking across the Brooklyn Bridge at sunset with Lin Wang Gordon was a life-changing experience. This wasn’t just a walk. It was an awakening. My understanding of nature, the climate crisis, and my role in it has shifted profoundly since that evening. I never expected the walk to be as insightful and impactful as it was, and I continue to find new depth and meaning in the learnings I take from that walk every day.” – A participant from Brooklyn Bridge Sunset Meditative Walk, 2024

"The class creates a sacred and supportive container to connect with others at the same life stage. Lin is a gifted teacher and guided us through a journey of facing mid-life with gratitude, honesty, and introspection. I came out of the class with a more expansive and empowered perspective on this unique stage of life." - A participant from "Soulcentric Midlife" 5-month course

"A meditative hike does not just combine hiking and meditation – instead it creates an entirely different experience altogether...Lin’s careful planning and skillful tailoring of the hike created an experience which heightened our awareness and enhanced our ability to connect with nature and each other in a meaningful way." - A participant from a fall hike

About

Lin Wang Gordon has dedicated over a decade to studying insight meditation (Vipassana) and has recently deepened her practice through the Tibetan Dzogchen traditions.  Through her meditation journey, she discovers the transformative power of Buddhist philosophy and practices to help live a life of flow, joy, wonder, and resilience.

Since completing Mark Coleman’s Nature Meditation Teacher Training (2017), Lin has led nature meditation and ecodharma programs that integrate mindfulness with a reverence for the natural world, nurturing resilience in the face of the climate crisis. She is currently enrolled in the Community Dharma Leaders Program (CDL7) at Spirit Rock Meditation Center.

Through the New York Insight Meditation Center, Lin founded the Sacred Earth Sangha, Midlife Sangha and the Asian Diaspora Sangha. Her teaching is rooted in a desire to support others in inner transformation, guiding them toward a greater sense of purpose, connection, and belonging in everyday life. She teaches meditation both indoors and outdoors, from city parks to the wilderness.
